Christmas is fast approaching and at Church by the Bay we love to share the message of Christmas - that Jesus Christ our Saviour was born, to save us from our sins and give us new life in Him.
Do come along to our Christmas events detailed below, and invite your family, friends, collegues and neighbours too.
Join us for a festive Christmas pudding-making event, where we create our very own traditional Christmas puddings! It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy some Christmas cheer, have some lovely Christmas drinks and nibbles and hear a talk from the bible, to get us thinking about Christmas and why as Christians it's so important to us.
Whether you're a seasoned pudding maker or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome. It's £10 per person which covers ingredients for the pudding, and food and drink on the night. Drop us a message on if you'd like to come.
Come along to a fun-filled evening of festive trivia! Gather your friends and family or join a team on the evening, and put your Christmas knowledge to the test. There'll be plenty of snacks on the tables and a prize or two to be won! We'll also hear a short talk about Christmas and what the bible says it's all about.

This is our special Christmas service - 'Breakfast in Bethlehem'. Come and celebrate the joy of Christmas with us! The morning includes a delicious breakfast beforehand, along with Christmas crafts. Then during the service a wonderful nativity that tells the story of the very first Christmas. We'll be singing carols and hearing from the bible about the true story and meaning of Christmas.
Whether you’re a regular member of our church or have never visited before, you are warmly invited. Bring your family and friends and come and share in the joy, hope and wonder of Christmas. Everyone is welcome! 10am on Sunday 13th Dec at Westgate Primary School. You can find directions here.
This is our Christmas event aimed at those who are 55 years old and over. Enjoy a warm welcome, delicious Christmas food, fun quizzes and plenty of opportunity to chat, laugh and enjoy good company. Christmas can often be a lonely time so this is a great event to invite people along to who might appreciate some company. We'll also hear a small thought from the bible that will help us see where true joy can be found this Christmas.

It's been a while since we've done an evening carol service but it's back and we're very excited. It's will be at 6pm on Sunday 20th Dec at Westgate Primary School.
Join us as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. The carol service will consist of traditional carols, readings, prayers and the wonderful story of Jesus' birth explained to us. There will be Christmas refreshments afterwards (definately mulled wine!) and a chance to enjoy a chat with others.
Whether you love singing your favourite Christmas carols or simply enjoy listening and soaking up the festive atmosphere, everyone is welcome. We look forward to welcoming you!
