Easter at Church by the Bay

A big thank you to all who came to or made our Easter events and services happen at Church by the Bay.

Our Easter Trail took place on Thursday with over 100 people completing it - as people and youngsters went around, they made their very own Easter garden and collected stamps, whilst reading all about the Easter story as they went.

We then had our special Easter service, where we made Easter crafts and heard more about just exactly what happened at Easter all those years ago. Jesus died on the cross, Jesus took people’s sin! The bad things we do and the sad things they cause. So that we can meet God and have friendship with him. But Jesus’ death is NOT the end of the story - he rose to life to show that he has done this, he has defeated death and brought us to God.
