1 Thessalonians: The Genuine Article

Our current sermon series is the book of 1 Thessalonians. The Christians in Thessalonica were a new struggling church, feeling alone and facing persecution. How do they know that they are a real Church? That they've got the real gospel of Jesus Christ? Paul the apostle writes to reassure these fledgling Christians that they are the genuine article and urges them to keep going. After our series on what the whole Bible says about Church (catch up here), we're honing in on one particular Church's situation, and we'll see just how relevant the Thessalonian Church is for Church by the Bay.
