Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a national charity that works with local churches, training and equipping them to offer support to their neighbours. Local church is what God is doing in the world and so it is great to be able to use their experience and resources here at Church by the Bay. Bethany and Jonathan are our Church CAP Money Coaches.

At Church by the Bay, we run a three week CAP Money Course. This course teaches people a simple system of budgeting and saving. This isn’t specifically for people in financial trouble, it’s for anybody who would like to have a better grasp of their finances, who would like to be a bit more deliberate about saving and a bit more conscientious about their spending. This is a course that is very likely to help everyone – whether someone is struggling or not. No one is asked to do anything embarrassing; no one is told how to spend their money; and no one will judge you.

At Church by the Bay we long to see people set free from financial debt and even more their spiritual debt in the name of Jesus.

Galatians 6:10
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
